The Green Queens LLC, never have, nor will we ever have a business relationship with the recycling
plant owned by Mr. Larry Webb.
Green Queens, LLC operates in accordance with all local and State
Laws and Ordinances.  In addition, we are a duly licensed, fully insured LLC and Members of the
Lubbock Chamber of Commerce. As per state law, Lubbock recycling drop-off sites are for the exclusive
use of residents of the City of Lubbock hauling household items from their own single-family residential
home.
Thus, all recyclable waste we collect from commercial establishments, businesses, or multi-
family residential properties, rental properties or governmental or municipal sites is taken to a local
recycling facility to be sent to end-users. You have our 100% Guarantee that your recyclables will never
be taken to the Lubbock Landfill or dumped elsewhere!
Be advised that Lubbock drop-off sites are for
the use of residents only.  Anyone receiving payment to haul waste from a residential property to one of
these sites is in violation of State Law.
We chose 33 gallon 100% Recycled Material Bags for our clients
instead of bins without lids that could litter your street on a windy day.
Clients are encouraged to tour
our site at any time.

*  There are two landfills in operation.
* The newest landfill, The West Texas Region Disposable Facility (Permit #2252) is located at 17304 North FM 2528 in Abernathy, Tx.  The WTRDF is currently
the LARGEST LANDFILL in the State of Texas with 1260 acres and is expected to serve the region for the next 100 years.
* The average Lubbock citizen throws away 5 lbs. of trash per day
* Beneath the landfill is groundwater.  Anyone who digs a well (farmers, ranchers, residents outside of the city) uses this groundwater; thus it must be protected.
* The landfill consists of several layers (1: Soft Liner, 2: Hard Liner, 3: Soft Trash (what comes from our homes), 4: Dirt Cover
* On windy days, water is sprayed over the layer of dirt to keep the dirt down.
* Lubbock has a fleet of 50 garbage trucks.  Each truck goes to the landfill with a load of trash 2-3 times a day (100-150 truckloads each day!)
* This new landfill, which was built to last for 100 years, may only last 50 years if we continue throwing trash into that landfill at the current rate!
